Here's what I'm building. I only need a PSU to begin.
*Coolermaster RC690
*ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
*Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail (G0)
*EVGA 512-P3-N841-A3 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail
*G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail
*SAMSUNG SpinPoint T Series HD501LJ 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
*SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S203B - OEM
*Tuniq Tower 120 P4 & K8 CPU Cooler - Retail

So all I need is a PSU now...the 8800gts 512mb requires 28 amps, correct? Will an earthwatts 500w be good enough?

will any of these be fine?

All of them would be fine. I would go with the cheaper Antec Earthwatts 500W or the Corsair 520HX, which has modular cabling.

here's one hell of a deal: http://www.svc.com/rs-850-emba.html and heres the other one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817171024

Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750/850w, got favorable reviews here http://www.hardwarecanucks.com...wer-supply-review.html and here http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/...w5LCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA==

Pretty decent unit, only real downside could be that it's not modular. It has 5 year warranty though, and has so much power that it will last you for this and your next rig 😛

The recommended 28A is for the entire system and not just the video card.

Absolutely.
