Which PS is better - Enermax or Antec

I am looking at two power supplies and want to know which is better.
Antec TruePower 430
Enermax EG465P-VE(FCA)

The Enermax has adjustable fan speeds which is good, but I also am very
interested in a QUIET P/S.

Anybody have experience with both or know where there is a review that
looks at both? Did I mention I wanted a quiet power supply?

Here is a comparison from anandtech here. Not sure it is the exact same enermax though. Personally I have the trupower 430 and love it.

The review was exactly what I was looking for!
The conclusions show that the Antec and Enermax were very close in performance. I have found that the Enermax is about $5 to $10 more expensive and the review had it slightly more noisy. The difference is probably not even detectable by most people. Sounds like I will lean towards the True Power. THanks again.

I love my Enermax power supply but its a bit noisy but when I bought my power supply there were no Antec True PSUs yet.

I tossed with the same decision.

Bought the Antec True480 and am very pleased.

The rails hold fairly constant but it still has a little undervolt
which the Enermax usually does not from what I hear.

truepower's 12v line is bit underpowered vs enermax 5v is slightly underpowered.

Perhaps depending on what you have on your system, this could be the deciding factor?

I got my TruePower 430 for $60. Gotta love employee discounts :)
Too bad I can't use it until I build a new system because my Dell uses a proprietary PS connector, but at the price I got it for, it's worth the wait.

The review says there is a 3 pin connector. Is that to control the PSU's fan speed? I assume
this means you need a fan controller, like the DigDoc5 or even a small rheostat. Is this correct?

I don't know if you can actually control the PSU fan speed but it sure can monitor the speed.

The 3 pin connector is for connecting a case fan(s). Its speed regulated by the PSU itself (the same way it regulates its own fan(s)). Its best to use it for a fan(s) near the PSU as it is temp regulated and the temp gauge is in the PSU.

I bought a 420W enermax PS almost 2 years ago and it isn't the quietest thing. Next time i'll try an Antec.
