Which project?

Ok, I am having trouble.

I downloaded, and installed the software yesterday for 17 or bust. I got confirmation emails with user name and password. I am running the.. whatever ... on two puters. I can see the work.

Here is the problem. .....

I can go to the website and do a member search and see KarenMarie ...joined yesterday.... no profile...

I try to sign in and get:
Specific error message: bad password at session.mc:login

Can't be... I cut and pasted the password.

So I try to reset the password:
The information you entered is invalid.
The email address you entered does not match the address that was provided when this account was created.

So, I think... well, maybe I am registered with the project, and my computer software, but not the website.... so I try to register... and get:
The information you entered is invalid. that username is already taken

So, either someone joined the same time I did with the same user name, or there is something wrong.

Also, as I said, I am running this on two machines... how can I configure it to be the same user name so all the stats go as one?

Hmm. Well, the login at SoB is picky in that it is case sensitive and you can't have any extra spaces. I always get that error message because I always forget whether I capitalized the first letter in my password, and I always choose wrong!

All that is necessary to have more than one computer associated with the same username is to use that name on each machine.

Ahhh.... stupid me!

I have an uncontrollable habit of hitting the space key after my first name!!
