Which processor should I use?

OK. I have 2 computers...

my custom computer has a 1.6a P4 processor. I've o/c'ed it to 2.2ghz with ease.

i have a dell dimension w/a 2.4ghz p4 processor. no o/c

i believe that they are both standard processors -- nothing special, just different ghz.

I just received my asus p4p800 deluxe motherboard.

Can I swap out the processors and use them interchangably?

which processor should i use? any insight on this?

well if they are the same socket size you can... p4 had a larger socket for earlyer chips

if the 2.4 is a 2.4B, you'll prolly get a nice oc out of it

is there any way i can find this out other than taking the heat sink off the processor?
