Which Processor is faster?

Which is the faster processor the 3000 that has 939 pins or the one that has 754 pins and is it worth it to spend the extra money for the 939 pin processor? or should I just get the 754 pin?

The 939 pin is very slightly faster. If you are planning on OC'ing get a 939 because it is 90nm.

if you plan oc or want to have a little more room to updates go 939, if you plan to stay with the setup or have a tight budget 754 few or no advances is performance stock vs stock

Yes, all 939 pin 3000 and 3200 are 90nm. There is both a 90nm and 130nm version of the 939 pin 3500.

s939 3000 = 1.8ghz
s754 3000 = 20.ghz

the s754 3000 is faster than the s939 3000 at stock speeds.

If you were to overclock the s939 3000 to 2ghz than it would be slightly faster bc of the dual channel memory.

Go 939 90nm its a touch faster, oc's better and runs very coool.

They're very close in most benchmarks. In some cases the raw Mhz is better than more memory bandwidth, and sometimes it's the other way around. I doubt there would ever be much more than a ~5% difference in performance between them.
