Which point and shoot camera should I buy?

My wife's Nikkon camera died and I have to buy her a new one.

Any recommendations on what to get?

for its price, the Olympus Stylus Epic ($129, non Zoom) seems to win unianimously in this board.

I don't think my wife will go for a camera without a zoom lens.

There is the stylus epic 120 zoom great camera, not as good as the regular stylus epic though.

I'm actually leaning towards the Minolta Freedom Zoom Explorer EX or the Canon Sure Shot 85.
