Which patch slows down Win2k/XP?

Hi folks,

I remember there was a patch which slows down the machines quite significantly after being installed. Anyone remembers which patch was it? I can't seem to locate the proper thread here.

I also can't remember which patch it was, but I do recall that MS patched the patch... so that the slow downs shouldn't occur anymore.
