Which OS to Run

I'm just about to setup my new system: Conroe 6600, 2GB, 975 mobo, x1950xtx, 2x 320sata. I will be using it for gaming, video capture and editing, some .net programming and I would like to be able to do some streaming a/v to the home entertainment system. Would you install XP, XP64 or Media Center? Just curious what you think.

Windows XP Pro or Windows Media Center either of those will work out nicely though you'd probably like Windows Media Center.

MCE or XP 32 is okay. If you're connecting to Internet wirelessly, use XP.

Really? Media Center is bad for wireless connectivity? I've used Media Center seems basically the same thing just added features.

After doing a little research, it sounds like MCE is based on XP, but won't allow you to join a domain. That seems like a stupid thing to disable. I definitely want to be able to connect to the domain controllers, but MCE is required to connect to an xbox 360 to stream video. Are there other good solutions for streaming video to the home entertainment center other than an xbox? Do they require MCE or can they be streamed from XP?
