Which option would you rather have your boss take?

Just started a new job in october and the director of my group never takes any random vacation. However, he just got back today from a 3 week trip. Since he is back, I know he will not be taking off again for like a year. 🙁

Which brings me to my question, what would you prefer? Your boss taking off 3 weeks in one shot, or spread out during the year?

my boss is usually here every day. but it really makes no difference to me, when i want to take it easy on a particular day, i can just sit in my cube and chances are no one will come bother me.

Doesn't matter much to me. My dad employs me and he's a pretty laid back guy.

I'm my own boss so I'm never on vacation.

I just prefer he doesn't take the same vacation days as I do. Although I work nights so I see almost nobody.
