I've been looking on newegg and none of the motherboards descriptions (S754 or S939) say if they have AGP/PCI lock. Is it called something else?

It is not a feature that is advertised.

The nf3-150 and K8T800 chipsets do not have a working lock.

The nf3-250 and K8T800-Pro chipsets support a working lock, but it is up to the motherboard manufacturers to implement it. Many of the early K8T800-Proboards do not have a working lock. The only way to be sure is to find a review of the specific board testing this feature.

Well I was looking at the nf3 250 S754 boards, most likely the MSI Neo or asus k8n-e deluxe. I remember reading that all the S939 boards featured working agp/pci locks (despite that fact that, as you said, it's not mentioned anywhere)

So I have to look around to make sure either of those 2 boards has a working lock?

If I plan to OC I want a working agp/pci lock right?

What are you looking for a board that supports an FX chip or one that supports a regular A64.

DFI Lanparty w/ NF3 chipset is the one to get for OCing an A64. The new DFI is due out on 9-2-04.

Every board based upon the nForce3 250 chipset has a working AGP/PCI lock.
