how about a few honest opinions on this. since i've moved away from my computer for the next 4 months (or atleast getting to use it on a regular basis..) i need something to waste time on when at can't sleep. between a ps2 or a gamecube, i'm more into the driving and sports games, with an accasional puzzel type game or action. personally i think the ps2 would be the way to go but i've never really used the gamecube and don't know much about it. also, if i've been finding some really good deals on systems on ebay, like the system, 2 controlls mem. cards games, anything that i should watch out for it i did decide to go that way? thanks in advanced!

If you're looking for driving games, I would say the PS2, I guess. Personally, I have a Gamecube and I love it. There is a ton of games coming out very soon for the GCN, but if you need stuff right now, the PS2's larger library is more than likely the way to go, as much as I hate to say it :)

That is the only reason I want a PS2. I can't justify the price though.

They should make Gran Turismo 3 for the computer.

get the ps2, get gt3, and splurge and get the force feedback wheel. once you play with the wheel, you'll never go back to playing with the dual shock. it's pricey, but it's worth every penny. ;)

I LOVED the original Gran Turismo, played that game till the CD was ready to catch fire. Never played GT2, recently purchased a PS2, and I began playing GT3 and I couldn't stand it :(

Gah, buy PS2 for GTA3 :D (bcz u wont have a pc to play it on)
