Male gorilla vs Black bear

In a brute force fight, which one would win?

Male gorilla on average weighs 350lbs+, while a male black bear weighs ~400lbs.
 
well, I would say the gorrilla has more brute strength, but the bear has tons of claws. I think the gorilla, could knock the bear out though if he decked the bear real good.
 
Chuck Norris would own a guerilla, but he would also own a bear. It's a tough choice, but I vote bear because Chuck Norris would probably have a slightly harder time fighting a bear.

someone pull out the d&d monster manual and do some roleplaying. i'm sure one of you guys are into stuff like that.
 
Thats a tough one. I'd say the black bear because of size advantage and claws. But it also depends on their temperment...I'm not sure how prone black bears are to fighting.
