Which one will do better??

I've been looking at all types of coolers and I've just been wondering what cooler is best bang for my buck. I also want some measure of silence so I won't go insane.

After alot of research, I've decided the only high quality coolers that I can find without splurging $$ on expensive zalman HSFs or mounting massive heavy blocks are those two:

1) Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro @ $28 from zzf

2) Stock AMD Heatpipe cooler @ $15 from ebay (I have a SD 3700+ so I don't have one on hand; also I might get that $5 silverstone fn82 92mm in 80mm fan from svc)

Tell me your opinions

Get the new AMD Stock Heatsink that is shipping with the Opteron 165's. It has 4 heatpipes, and performs better than the xp-90.

Don't make a decision too fast. Remember, temperatures will vary depending on many factors. It depends on what type of airflow you're trying to go with I guess...

To be perfectly honest. I never thought id ever find myself recommending a stock heatsink, but the new 4 copper heatpipe sink is amazing. It seems like theres a guy on ebay selling them for $15 total shipped. That beats the price of the arctic freezer or xp-90 for that matter. Id just save your money and get the stock one. I swapped my xp-90 out for one, it actually cools 1C better and is less noisey. Just amazing.

One other reason I sorta like it is, I dont have to remove my memory on my epox mobo to remove the heatsink when I have to(The memory sits to the right of the cpu, which ends up right under the XP-90). It was a pain for me doing that.

That fan looks like a winner. If you go with the AMD cooler and the Silverstone fan, be sure to post a comparison of stock fan vs. the Silverstone.

Anyone else w/ experience w/ a AMD stock heatsink???
I'll order on Sunday evening if I haven't changed my mind, since they can't ship on weekends anyway.
