We're you the type that fvcked around, studied last minute and got good grades? We're you the to type to work your ass off day in, day out type that got good grades? Or were you just fvcked regardless how hard you worked?

Note:

To ease my curiousity, could you list your class/major that you are judging your response.

Last minute dominator. In fact, I'm cramming for a test I'll probably ace tomorrow too.

Procrastinated, skipped class (more-so at the end of my college days)... not a lot of studying. I didn't go to a single full week of class this semester and got on the Dean's List with a 3.50, though a couple of my classes were pretty easy.

I've historically been a "last minute dominator". I've often wondered what I would achieve if I worked day in, day out.

I applaud you folks! I don't know how you guys do it, but if it works for you, keep at it. However, I do get a sense that these people are socially inept. They're stuck in their own scheduled world. are you social/extroverted?

5 years of high school, over a hundred days of suspension (in school and out), 1 expulsion, had a cumulative .012 GPA...however I had the highest test grades in the school (including big ones like the SAT's), and knew more than 95% of the people there. I did my studying last minute when I bothered, but I usually knew the material before ever going to class, so it was seldom necessary.

In college I've basically held a 3.82 GPA, and will finish my BA in 30 months start to finish. Even in college, however, I do things last minute, and frequently miss classes or small assignments. My focus major is History, with a minor in Political Science, but I'm also picking up req's for my BS in Physics, as well as pre stuff towards my MA in Education.

Not at all. It's not hard to dedicate an hour to an hour and a half a day to study, rather than watching TV or something else that isn't productive. I have a life and a girlfriend.

I didn't study, I didn't go to class, got fine grades because I test extremely well. One of my classes at ISU was called 'foundations of inquiry'. I went to that class on only 4 days. The first and second days, then the mid term and final. The final was on books I haden't read (or even bought from the book store) and on movies watched during class. And not regular movies either, there were 'intersting movies'. For example, 2 of the questions on the essay final were about the rythms and beats in african tribal music.

Serioulsy, I looked at the questions and basicly said 'WTF? OMG I am screwed'. Then I laid out the best bullsh!t essays I had ever written. It was piled high and deep. IIRC I got a 30 out of 32, highest in the class. I need to find those things, I remember putting them somewhere for posterity. I want to read them again to see if they still make sense. Thanks for reminding me.

Accounting Major with a Minor in CS

Last minute...always.

I dont know why but there arnt many tets that i can study ahead of time for. When I have 3 on one day..ok i'll study ahead of time..or if its a HUGE HUGE HUGE test..i'll study maybe 2 days before hand. But really..>I PLAN to do all nighers.

It sucks when your doing it...but its only a night of pain..and you know when your done with it you can do whatever the hell you want to.

I fvcked around all the time and scored in the 90s.

Doesn't say much for our public education system.

I definitely do everything last minute. However, I often wonder if I'm cheating myself by doing this because I certainly don't retain very much of the stuff I crammed. If you're there just for the piece of paper, then there's no concern. But if you're there for the education, it probably isn't the best way to do things and I struggle with this occasionally. My laziness always seems to win though... ;)

Worked day in, day out and generally did okay (I would have liked to have done better). I practically lived and studied in Hornbake library during my undergrad years. I only went to my dorm to sleep. My major was EE.
