which one to keep

i have to get rid of one of the video cards.

the first card is a elsa geforce256 sdr 32mb(bios updated): its got power and speed, i use it for 3d games
3dmark 99 scores 3300 - 3600

the second is a Ati Radeon Le 32mb (hacked to regular ddr): its got 2d quality, its easier on the eyes. i use it to play dvds
3dmark 99 scores 4000-4300

so which one goes and which one stays?

i know i am at least six months behind the curve but i was hoping to sell one for a down payment on a g3ti200/radeon 7500.

If the geforce256's 3dmark scores are 20% lower than the Radeon's, how can you say the geforce has power and speed?

From the info you give, the Radeon is clearly better. So then you have to decide if you want to keep the better card or the worse card.

IMO 3dmark is a waste of time, run some quake3, serious sam benchmarks and you'll soon find out which card to keep!

Out of the 2 video cards you mention get the gf3ti200, don't bother with the 7500 or atleast get a 8500!
