First of all I don't want to overclock. Now I am using CORSAIR vs 450. Today I just bought RX 570 nitro 4 GB version. So in the card there is two type of power connector 1 is 6 pin and another is 8 pin, as I previously said that I don't want to overclock so which one should I connect and I want to know that which one gives overclocking power to the GPU .
Thanks in advance
I want to know that without overclocking how much power only the PSU will draw with single power connector and by using this only one power connector will it harm my gpu or psu?????

My config

ASUS m5A7 8MLX

Phenon II x4 840

8 gb ddr3 1600mhz

corssair vs 450

2 120mm fan

2 80mm fan

Uhm, you need BOTH of them, and you should have bought a bigger, more powerful power supply, with the necessary connectors.

Why the hell would an rx570 need two power connectors?
Yeah, I was also kind of wondering that. My XFX RX 470 4GB card, shows a power draw of ~85W for the GPU proper. so the whole card cant be taking more than 120-130W at absolute max, I would think.

My card has one 6-pin.

I've got an XFX RX 570 4GB on order, it has a single 8-pin, which is likely headroom for OC, or to cut down on the power drawn from the PCI-E slot, so you can mine easier with it.

Well it says the power consumption is 225 W. So you can get away with the board power + 8-pin, but that is cutting it awfully close.

i would just connect both if there's two... and it's a nitro so you're already overclocked!

Connect both 6pin & 8pin connectors and then select the quite BIOS option by Sapphire or in your AMD control panel, select power saving option and it will reduce the power consumption of your RX 570

Why not just undervolt the card and lower the clocks a bit? When my rx 470 was still healthy, i tried to undervolt it in windows and i could seriously lower the voltage from the default state without losing any performance.
