I am going to try and switch to a new position in my company. I went to tech school a few years ago. So it would be senseless for me to pay for A+. I am hoping that I can get them to foot the bill for network training down the road. I am pretty knowledgeable, I have seen many talk about Myers All in one A+. But this company's material seems pretty good as well, Sybex. Their A+ book seems decent and they even have a virtual trainer which is suppose to inlcude all the info from the book. I don't need much, but I am sure it wil help with some of the newer book stuff and hopefully help me recall some of the old stuff. Any thoughts or advice.

Do you need it as a resource or a refresher? Myers' is a good resource, but the other stuff is worth a shot maybe? (Heck, ask for both and see what happens....)

Mainly as a refresher. But when I got out 95 wasn't even released yet. The Pentium wasn't out either, lol. So I know I need a good dose on OS.

You wont regret it Classy. 1263 pages of mind numbing A+ material. Great paper weight, or door stop, or boat anchor, your choice, when you finish.

J/K Its a great resource. I know the author. He puts alot of work into his books and the are entertaining as well as educational.

Just a tip to check Cosco or Sams Club for the book. Ive seen them all over at either of these stores for almost $15 cheaper than a regular bookstore or online.
