Which one of these pictures do you prefer

2, close up, less glare off the screen, clearer focus, more subjects, less reflections

No, they are cousins, but I don't know them personally.
 
The first one has a lot more subject character. Crop it closer to the chick and the child looking at it, and it'd be even better.

are you suggesting cropping out the viewing window frame altogether by coming with the crop, or just making it slightly tighter. 🙂
