The xp-90

What fan should I use with this also is it meant for a 92mm case fan to be thrown on here?

Thermaltake Big typhoon

What are the pros and cons of each? Which cools the best? Which one is the loudest? Which is the quietest? Which is the best bang for buck? Which can get my opteron 165 to 2.6ghz?

In my opinion, the best "bang 4 buck" heatsink around is the amd stock dualcore copper heatpipe heatsink. $15 shipped at ebay or of course, free with a cpu... It cools extremely well for being a stock cooler.

Out of what you listed, id say go with the $28 arctic freezer pro. XP-90 is good as well, but, cools about the same as the stock cooler in my experience.

Of course could always spend more cash and go big typhoon or ninja.

well i bought mine oem before i knew how good the stock hsf was. Anyways which arctic is compatable with my opteron 165? I would prefer getting the first one as it looks better but want to know what everyone else is buying.

Also would the arctic cool as well as the xp-90 and stock hsf? or possibly better? Also is it more quieter?

get the first one. the non-Pro is no longer a great choice (and is never in stock). I doubt you'll notice much of a difference between any of them even when OCing.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro or stock AMD Heatpipe HS/F if you are worried about price.

Scythe Ninja if you want the biggest, baddest, and in most cases best cooling HS on the block. Get a 120mm Nexus with it and you'll love it.

Don't mean to hi-jack, but what's the difference between the SI-120 and the XP-120? Which is better? I've always wondered but have been far too lazy to google.
