Which one of these CDRW drives can backup SD2 discs?

40X Plextor
40X LiteOn
40X TDK

I'm looking to get the 40X TDK CDRW drive since it rips CDs pretty dang fast but that LiteOn drive sure does look good for $89!! What do you guys think?

WOW! The cheaper drive is the best drive! Man, how many times do you see that? Very cool, I most likely will get the LiteOn then. So the Plextor and the TDK won't do SD2?

I have Liteon 24X and was able to backup MOH Allied Assualt which has the latest SD2. Another vote for Liteon.

I am curious about why the plextors are having problems with SD2... Is it the inability to read the sub-channel data correctly or write it...? Since I also have a Toshiba DVD player I could read from, would this give me a good combo for SD2, and I could replace my aging 8/20x SCSI burner...?
