Maybe this should be moved?

Speakers are peripherals.

Go some place and listen to the audio where they sell these. A lot depends on the room size and connection method. I am happy with my dell soundbar. I also like my USB headphones.

Maybe some site reviews these?

Try looking here maybe?

they all look the exact same.

The Z313 offers u a desk control feature tho...
The others are missing the subwoofer...

Out of the package, it seems you get the most with the Z313.

Hey OP, possibly... look into "home theater sound bars" as well if ur looking for speakers.
They may cost a little bit more.. but u get such a better package in a home theater sound bar setup.
Only problem is they are quite long... but they are worth it if you have the real estate on your desk or mounted on the wall.

If you're looking at this level of speakers, nothing will really matter. Even the highest-priced one has a 5" subwoofer -- you're looking at boomy fake bass, right there. I would get the cheapest 2.0 setup and call it a day if you absolutely must buy.

If you don't mind a pair of headphones, a pair of "Koss KSC-75" headphones will blow all of these out of the water:

If you don't mind spending a bit more, the "ATH-M50" from Audio Technica approaches the $1000 headphones in many ways and can be a can to use for life. They are closed headphones so not recommended if you're in a hot area w/ no AC.

It's not a popular opinion on these types of forums, but IMO strong audio will have a more profound effect on your gaming/movies/whatever than slightly more compelling textures. Since audio's basically already topped out at CD Quality (your ears will be shot by the time you can afford the 192kHz stuff) quality speakers / headphones can be used for life.
