which one is better for audio chats? trillian 3 or skype?

trying to decide which one to use. currently i have trillian 3, but was wondering how does it compare to skype for pc to pc audio chatting. any thoughts?

Personally, I love Trillian. Its my primary IM client, but I hear a lot of good things about Skype as well. I just don't use it because all my friends use text based IM clients. Its also easier to ignore/respond at my leisure when typing. Ignoring someone in a voice conversation is rude.

I use Trillian for IMing, but never tried the voice chat. But I do use Skype for voice chatting and it is AWESOME. Great quality!

SkyPE v1.2 allows 3-way conferencing, Answering Machine mode(Beta), and Simple FTP (no file size limits).

btw.. as far as i understand, skype is not voip.. its p2p.. am i correct?

with Skyp your able to call house lines, and its cheap 1.2cents/min to call europe
something like that.

Used skype for a while now and all I can say is I have had no reason to look at any other voice chat software - I guess thats a great recommendation!
