Amazon.com's Internet shopping site went down Friday morning on the day after Thanksgiving, one of the busiest shopping days of the year. A message on the site said in part, "We're sorry, but our Books, Music, DVD & Video, Toys & Games ... stores are closed temporarily. We expect to be back soon."
