Asrock Z97 EXTREME4
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5
GA-Z97X-UD3H
Asrock Fatal1ty Z97X Killer
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI
ASUS Z97-A

my price range is 120 euros for motherboard.
so which is the best ?
if i get one of these i would get i5-4690K .
if i went with z87 g45 i would get i5 4670k but new motherboards are more future proof and new i5 has less heat and it overclocks better and price difference is little. i will overclock the cpu .

if there are better motherboards in this price range please say

Thanks !

I assume you will be OC'ing?? What else do you plan on doing with the PC.. like.. gaming, etc?

If you are gaming a lot, I'd suggest the Gaming 5 as my preferred choice out of that group. I believe it has 2 PWM headers on board.. I can't recall off the top of my head, but personally, I prefer a board that has two because I want one for my HSF, and then one for any other PWM case fans.

You should go on newegg.com and put these mobo's up in a comparison list to compare side by side, as well.

Somebody please correct me if I am wrong about the PWM header topic above.

Im a fan of the Asrock Z97 EXTREME4

Its got
- Intel LAN (not that killer stuff)
- dual bios
- 12k caps
- no PCI (a plus IMO)
- looks good
- cheap

Id roll with that or an asus sabertooth mark 2.

In my opinion, the best balanced board out of that group is the Gigabyte Gaming 5. It's got plenty of storage connections (SATA 6, USB 3.0, USB 2.0) like the ASRock.

Unlike the ASRock motherboards it is has better quality components in the power delivery to the CPU. The Gaming 5 has 8 real phase and a digistal as opposed to 6 and an analog controller on the ASRock.

If the Gaming 5 is out of your budget then the ASRock Extreme4 would be my second choice out of that list.

If your goals are overclocking and longevity then your best bet is the Gigabyte G5.

The Asrock Z97 Extreme4 brings 12 phase power, Intel LAN, ALC1150 sound, 8 rear panel USB ports, 6 of which are USB 3.0, plus the front panel USB 3.0, tons of internal SATA connectors, on board power and reset buttons, etc., etc. I was never a big fan of ASRock, but when you look at the value they are bringing to the table, it's hard to deny they really give your money's worth. I've had Gigabyte boards in my last two builds, but I'm seriously considering shifting allegiance, especially since the Gigabyte I would normally get doesn't have Intel LAN anymore.

At any rate, the OP didn't come back so this is pretty much a waste of time, lol.

None of those:This one @ that price point: http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=731

I can say it's definitely better than the Extreme4. (only 1 on your list I've had..and exchanged for the Biostar)
cuz the Extreme4 wouldn't run my RAMs right..not 'nuff voltage :)
AsRock Extreme4 sucks balls..
OCF or nothing.

Trying to say ASRock sucks based on one isolated anecdotal account is not going to get much traction among those who know better. That said, the Hi-Fi Z97WE looks like Biostar's top and only Z97 offering, so perhaps they are putting a bit more into their flagship offering than they do their lower tier boards, which is what most people who try Biostar will end up with, and that is often a mistake.

Also, it's not too many people that want to overvolt their RAM to over 2V, especially on boards at this price point. For almost everyone else, the Biostar offers poorer quality codec and Ethernet, and less connectivity than the ASRock.
