Which of these three degrees should be my Major in college?

Is EVERYONE a CS or IS major here?

Working in the industry, I'm more of an Applied Science type.

I'm a CS major. You better love programming if you go into that degree because you'll be doing lots of it. I enjoy programming but some of the stuff we do is pretty mind-numbing and you'll find yourself doing stuff that you'll never really do in the industry. No one writes sorting algorithms these days, they're all in libraries, but you'll be forced to do that kind of stuff to learn about algorithms. Programming compilers is also very boring (in my opinion). And of course the assembly language stuff sucks. But there are also classes I really, really enjoy.

I feel the same about assembly. Taking it right now and it sucks pretty hard..

Everyone makes more than teachers. That's part of our problem...lol.

Well teachers do get a third of the year off. So it only makes sense that their pay would be two-thirds of other professionals.

Nah. They spend most of their summers in seminars and preparing for the next year. Relaxed schedule? Yes. Loafing time? No.

That said, I'd rather see year round schooling. Summers off is a relic from farming times when kids had to help with the harvests.

Like I said above, the Medical field. My wife is going to school to be an Respiratory Therapists and is going to end up with a free ride when all is said and done due to the shortage of RTs. The scholarships aren't financial need based, either. When she graduates, she'll make more than I do as a experienced IT guy.*

The Medical field is like what IT was in the 90s.

*I can't really title myself because I am heavily involved in all aspects of IT in at my employer. Easy to do when there are 4 IT people for 600 users. I'm 2nd from the top and responsible for almost all of the servers, GPOs, scripting, etc.
