Which of these burners is better?

I have both lying around and wondering which to put in my system. Any opinions?

HP CDWriter Plus 9300i series (I cant figure out if this one supports 80 min cd-rs)

Phillips PCRW804 (i know this one supports 80 min cd-rs)

I seem to recall the HP 9300i receiving a lot of favorable attention in its day along with the likes of the Plextor 8432A. But I have no experience with either the HP or the Philips.
 
I believe one of the recorders I have at home is a 9300 series and it'll write to 80 minute cds. I thought the speed of it was atleast 12x. I could be wrong though.

well the 9300 is buring 80 mins fine. I cant update the firmware though because the util says I dont hve the original hp software installed. I lost that cd ages ago. any ideas?
