I'm getting ready to help a friend make a new pc. Which of these boards is the best? My last couple systems have used Gigabyte boards but I saw an Asus one recommended here in the builds thread. It doesn't have many reviews though compared to the others I am looking at. These are in the top of the price range I am looking at. If you have any better recommendations those are welcome as well. Thanks!

Depends on the chip really. A quad will beat up that Asus board. The Gigabyte board will tell the quad to sit down and shut up. Those are in terms of overclocking

Generally if the hardware is good at overclocking, the rule of thumb says its above and beyond the standards.
