Dual AMD. Dual is sooo much nicer for multitasking.

I'd keep the P4 for games. You already said you do everything else on your laptop anyway. You could get more $$ from selling the duallie. Keep the scsi if you like.

I was in the same boat a while back. dual 1800 vs P4 2.4. I play games more so it was a easy choice, the P4 was much faster in games than the AMD. but in your case, sell the one that will bring the most $$$

I just got for dirt cheap an Asus P4G8X-deluxe pack with all goodies from a friend. (RMA, but he already bought another board.)
So, I am swapping the MSI board to that and keeping the Intel rig. Also just bought a new HDD... MAxtor DM9+ SATA 120Gb
