Which next generation videogame console are you getting? And why?

i haven't owned a system since SNES... = P ... but PS2 seems alluring... cause i wanna play GT3 ; )

ive got ps2, i may get gamecube, i wont get x-box.

I'll be getting a PS2, for two reasons:

1.) Final Fantasy

2.) It doubles as a DVD player

definitly the gba all the way, GBA will ROCK i hope, and probly gonna hafta get a ps2 for the next few final fantasy's i soooo wanna try 9, and of course I'll be making a water cooled p3 1gig soon, practice for when I can afford to go dual tbird 1.5er's

I have a Dreamcast and a PS2 and I love them - I'll be getting the Gamecube and DEFINITELY the GameBoy Advance.

Don't really find myself wanting the X-box though.

I just picked up a Dreamcast just cuz it was so damn cheap. Don't play much consoles anymore anyway. I just wanted Street Fighter and some racing games.

I may consider purchasing the X-Box. If Zelda for the Gamecube appears to be as good as Zelda 64, I juist might have to get that system too.
As much as I would love to play FFX, I can't justify paying the premium for a PS2....plus the Final Fantasy games usually wind up being ported to PC anyhow.

I'm leaning towards Gamecube, but I don't know for sure yet. One thing that turns me away from XBox is that the hard drive could be fragile, I don't need a console with a HD failure.
