both for reselling, one or none for playing. I bought a bunch of 360's, then sold the 360 I was playing. same with the PSP. I'm hoping the wii can hold my attention long enough for me to keep it.

Wii at launch
Xbox 360 maybe sometime next year
PS3 when I can get the lower model for ~$250 (and probably not until I get an HDTV)

don't know... really depends on which console has the most must-have games.

I haven't bought an XBox 360 yet, so I can't really see buying one at all in the near future, so it's just a matter of which console snags the most exclusive licensing deals.

Make a new topic with additional options. Editing this one is pointless with so many votes already.

there are some great, non-party games available on most systems, specifically the PlayStation brand, especially so now for the PS3 (most games I am looking at at exclusive to PS3). A good game thats available on all systems? Sure, I'll probably pick it up for the PC, unless I wasn't able to upgrade the PC to the specs required to play. Might just happen, although I want to get whatever nVidia's DX10 card is in November as well. November, will be a very expensive month. lol

It still amazes me when I see the Wii doing so well in these polls. Despite all of the hype I still expect the PS3 to do better... Fans are loyal. I don't know if it's just because Anandtech is not a representative sample of the population... but I've seen the Wii doing just as well elsewhere.

He could delete this poll and make a new one. He really should do that.

None? However, the roommates will probably end up getting the console-formerly-known-as-the-much-cooler-saounding-Revolution.

i'd prefer to stay with PC only but the lack of quality and interesting games lately is making me think of greener pastures.

Have a 360 already. Will have a Wii before Christmas. May end up with a PS3 when it can be had for like $200.

I'll be getting a Wii, but i'm not sure when. Anyone know if Costco will have the Wii on launch day? If not how long after? I would really like to buy it from Costco for their kick-ass warrenty, but if they wont have them for a month, i'll buy it elsewhere.

How did it work with the 360 at Costco?

Wii for this year. In about 1-4 years, i'll consider 360/ps3 (when their prices drops, and when hddvd gets integrated into 360, and when the newer, cooler-running chip for 360 comes out)
