Which movie is worth $7.50 this summer?

What movies have you seen and what do you recommend? So far, I've only seen Evolution--it's OK--worth maybe the matinee price.

How's Tomb Raider?

Memento

You will seriously not regret watching this movie....This is one of those movies that is "different" from the rest....I cannot explain why I like this movie so much (honesestly, this movie is tied for the best move I have EVER seen)....Check out the trailer, it might help, but to get the full experience, you have to watch it (I think the trailer is misleading)...

I haven't played a single game in the series, and I saw the preview for the first time last night, but Final Fantasy looks DAMN COOL.

ditto the vote for memento. i must warn you, it's not a movie with an easy-to-grasp plot or even simple characters...and it doesn't have any action scenes longer than 20 seconds (so it's not your typical hollywood movie with wasted talent, yet at the same time it's still very enjoyable to watch).

it's a movie you can think about and interpret in different ways (at least for me). i thought about the stroy for the rest of the day after seeing it.

and hey, if somebody here has already seen the movie, please don't spoil it in some way! (there's already another thread going about it to do that in...)

I saw Swordfish and Evolution (both Matinee price) and enjoyed them both.
I wouldn't watch either a second time, but they aren't bad if you are looking for something to do.

I'll probably see Tomb Raider, I'll probably go see Fast and the Furious...yeah it looks super cheesy and not very realistic..but then neither was sword fish...definately Kiss of the Dragon (Jet Li, July 6). I'll see the FF movie, I estimate 5-8 times 😉 (July 11).

Planet of the Apes definately (July 27), and probably Rush Hour 2 (Aug 3).

Not summer anymore...but there's a New Arnold movie starting on October 5, that's a definate on my A-list 😀

October 26 has a new Sly Stallone that's a maybe....

A.I. - Planet of the Apes - Momento (if you haven't seen it yet), there's another couple, but i can't remember the names.

Yes it is...just a typo...I was going in time order...the last one was July, and I just typed July again. Thanks for pointing it out though 🙂

Final Fantasy, duh.

Planet of the Apes probably.

Evolution was stupid funny (worth it though).

I won't see Pearl Harbor/fast furigay/tomb raider/atlantis.

Swordfish was good...
Just saw Tomb Raider last night...with guys, sigh, every scene she comes out and her boobs were like "just there", and every guy were like "whoa" :disgust:, but it was ok overall...
I'm waiting for The Fast and Furious to come out, the Italian guy, which is the bald big buff guy, dunno what his name is, he's so sexy! He was in Boiler room also...
I wanna see Atlantis, heard it was good...

Tomb Raider kicked ass. Now its not the best movie I have ever seen, but I was thouroughly impressed (considering its based off a videogame 😉 ), and I'm hoping for a sequel.
