Which motherboard should i choose for my new PC?

I just read that link in *** Official ASUS K8V/DELUXE (K8T800) Thread *** and that makes it sound like my second choice is bad.

I like the Albatron K8X800 ProII from the Via camp, or even the new AOpen just reviewed here, though it needs higher ram and CPU voltage options.
