Which Motherboard would you get for a socket 754?

Looking for a 50/60$ range motherboard for a socket 754 processer. I have a abit kv8-max3, but I have replace it and get one with a parallel port. Addon parallel card will not work with my chip burner. This pc is also used for gaming.,

Needs to be AGP

ASUS K8V-E Dlx 754 is in my Linux rig. I got a great bundled deal on mobo and cpu, but decided to up to 939 for Windows. My Linux rig is perfectly happy to be 754. With more research, I should have started with 939, instead of 754. No lost, I always wanted to upgrade my LINUX, from a PII, anything is a huge improvement. You can't go wrong with ASUS, I got 3.

I have the BIOSTAR TForce6100-939, works well for me. The BIOSTAR TForce6100 Socket 754 seems to be okay too.

I'm very happy with the Abit NV8 I've built 2 systems with them and they worked perfectly. I also really like how they are made with only top quality capacitors.

All good recs. BioStar rates well for the price. Abit has done a real turn around and is using very good electrolytics. MWink, if they have a tri-star on the top=United Chemicon, if a letter K=Rubycon, both are VG indeed.

asrock K8Upgrade-NF3 i have used 10 at least in the last 2 or 3 months they are cheap and decent overclockers if you have the right bios.....

I got an Abit NV8 a couple of weeks ago to replace an MSI Neo3. The NV8 is a quality board, with an extra 4-pin molex receptacle on the bottom of the board which provides additional amperage to the video card (according to the manual). It overclocks well, also. The MSI Neo3 is barely stable at default settings, and failed to post occasionally, requiring reset.
