I use it with 2 EVGA 285 SLI cards, and Vista Ultimate. So far, I very happy with it and it has been up and running 24/7 OC'd, since May 1st/09

Good specs.
I like ASUS DELUXE also, do you think in September when new x55 series will arrive
it will be cheper than today ($290) ?
I can use 20% cashback on it right now from ZIPZOOMFLY, for NEWEGG it's just 6%.

lols abit is dead and now they only provide warranty service for previously sold products. I used several of their mb's and they were my fav for several years. Now gigabyte is my fav.

I am thinking of getting another board as well. I am leaning towards the evga le myself, but kind of worried about the 16/8/8x. would rather it be 16/16/8. probably doesnt matter too much as I do not game much, but might try more in the future. My main thing is distributed computing.

I currently have a Bloodrage, Biostar, a UD4P all X58 boards with no issues on any of them. just depends on the best deal at the time for me. I overpaid for the BR, but really wanted to check it out.
the biostar and gigabyte I got each for $160-170 which is the range Im looking at unless I can get one cheaper.

Thought about a micro board too, but not sure.

I used to use Asus mainly, but there have been many problems with them this last year which has brought me to try other manufacturers.

I do not think the OP can go wrong in either of his choices. I have heard good and bad for all mobos. Just pick the one that fits your budget and fills your needs, along with your taste

To GEOrifle;
If the P6T Dlx is still available in 6 months the price will come down. $290 US with a 20% cash back is a good deal right now, as fas as I'm concerned. The Canadian Price is $336; so $290 reflects the fact that the US $ is worth 10% more than my Can$.
