Okay, I'm sort of in a bind here. I've got 2 monitors I want to choose from, the Samsung 900IFT or the Mag Innovision 796FD.
The Mag is extremely difficult to find, and I have found one place that says they have it in stock(everyone else is selling the 786FD).
Anyways, the Samsung seems nice. 19" 18" view .20...
However no matter where I read, they all say something different about the resolutions it supports. I've been assuming that they mean at an acceptable refresh rate(75 hz). Some sites say the monitor has problems with the geometry, others say it has moire issues, etc...But then there are many of those(mostly user ratings) that say the monitor is excellent.
I'm just wondering if any of you own this monitor could you give me some pointers about it? Is it good?
Currently I'm sure it'd be better than what I've got. I've got a 14" 1024x768@60 hz =P
796FD:
17"
16" view
1600x1200@75hz
Trinitron .24 Aperture Grille
$262 US
900IFT(From Samsung's site):
19"
18" view
2048x1536@60hz
DynaFlat .20
$305 US
