Which monitor is the best out of these 2?

With my wonderfull luck, my monitor died.. im using a POS Packard Bell 15" right now... so anyways, im looking at the Samsung Dyna-Flat 900DF and the Samsung Syncmaster . Im looking at those because they are in local stores.

Whats with the dot pitch? is lower or higher better? Id appreciate it if anyone who either knows how to compare monitors or has either of these, take a look at the info on the sites and tell me which one is better. Thanks in advance!

The lower the dot pitch the better so .2 vs .22 both of which are REALLY good. Not sure which monitor is better though the dyna flat recommends 75 hz @ 1280x1024 while the syncmaster recommends 85hz at that same resolution. Ussually 85hz is best but im not sure which is a better monitor. I guess u'll have to wait for someone who knows.

thanks for the reply, im going to pick one up tonight, so if i can find one with 1280X1024 @ 85, ill get that one. Whats the big difference between flat screen and not flat screen?

The higher the refreash rate and with the higher supported native resolution, the better.

That even looks like a good price on the SyncMaster 950B, newegg has it for $20 more.

I personally like flat screen CRTs better then round CRTs, specially for gaming. The difference is the picture on the rounded CRT monitor is convex. That's really it.
