I'm hesitating between the MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum and the MSI K8T Neo 2-FIR Platinum.

I'm planning to buy a new rig soon (AMD 64 3200+ S939, GeForce 6600 GT AGP8X, ...) and I wanted to know which mobo is the best for gaming?

I suggest you look at the features versus price, and download the manual to see what overclocking options are in the bios. I rarely see 2 similar boards tested in the same review. Sorry I can't be of more help. I run my p4 on an msi 865 board, and it runs perfectly stable at 266 (a 33% overclock).
