I purchesed the following hardware today and realized that the mobo I got doesnt have firewire. Would it be easier just to get a firewire card or is there a mobo that would be a better performer then what I got which includes firewire?

if you can find the standard abit IP35 (not -E or Pro) that's got firewire (& RAID) for a good price.
but yes, a firewire card is also a good option given shipping costs to send old mobo back etc.
