Ok, its nice to see so many active and helpful people out here =]
I'll get right to the point. Well, I am undecided. I dont know which mobo should I choose. I am getting a 1.2Tbird (200 FSB) system with Mushkin 2100 DDR ram. Which of the following mobo should I chose?
1) Asus A7M266 (750 dirhams, 200$) Note: Dirhams is the currency for UAE.
2) Gigabyte GA-7DX (600 dirhams, 163$)
3) FIC AD-11 (not sure..)
Now, I've heard a lot about the MSI Master board, but unfortunately, it is not available where I live (United Arab Emirates, hehe). First of all, I am a hardcore gamer and I am pretty sure I wont be overclocking.. so basically, I am looking for a robust and stable performer. I give 2 cents worth of Gibbon sh*t about all those fancy features (RAID, on board SCSI, on board sound) bah
Now, If my memory serves me right, I've heard that the Asus A7M266 is very good, but, is the performance difference between the Asus and the Gigabyte mobo really worth the 50$ difference between the two boards? heck! i could get B&W or Tribes2 for 50$! =]
=]
Thanks!
