Your link is down, but I think I know who you are talking about. If Latvia is that blond with the stunningly good looks, then yep she would have gotten my vote as well. When it came to the top 5, I was unhappy that she didn't make it. Of course, with the top 5, I said to the people in the room with me the order I wanted but noted that I bet they do it in the exact opposite order. And they did. Poor #5. She needed a translator to give her the question, and she went above and beyond in an attempt to answer in English to the 50+% American judge panel. She stumbled a bit on the words and got last out of those five. I really felt she was the best of those 5.

Edit: yep that was her. The main photo sucks, but if you click on her swimsuit photo, then you can really see her good looks.

Note: you could say the same thing about the real Miss Universe judges and the lack of European/Asian finalists.

Puerto Rico seemed stuck-up, so I guess I'm glad Canada won. Surprisingly, the US didn't make it into the top 5.

I didn't end up watching past the top 15...wife was too tired to stay up. Latvia was a hottie though.
