WHICH memory to USE , DDR 400 or DDR2 533 ?

My new motherboard says it takes DDR 400 or DDR2 533 which is better? I was going to get the DDR2 533 then I read that the DDR 400 is faster, so WHICH should I buy? PLEASE HELP!! Thanks,,,

I would use DDR2 533 or DDR2 667.

Would the DDR2 667 work, but run at 533? If the 667 will work I`d like to get it so when I upgrade mobo I can use the DDR2 667 memory.
