Ordering a rig from www.ncix.com in th enext few days and i'm unsure as to what sort of ram i should get!

I recall reading an article here about memory and how high end memory had minimum performance gains for A64??

I'm considering the following memory. Any suggestions

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?...ture=CRUCIAL%20TECHNOLOGY&promoid=1026

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?...ufacture=OCZ%20Technology&promoid=1026

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?...ufacture=OCZ%20Technology&promoid=1026

or will a set of good ol value ram be just fine

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?...IT400&manufacture=CORSAIR&promoid=1026

Thanks in Advance for your suggestions!

What system is that going to be and wherefore are you going to use it?

EDIT: Both the OCZ Premier and the Corsair Value should do fine, whatever your system's going to be (for)...

Well going to be building a AMD 3800 x2 with a DFI Lanparty Ut NF4 sli-dr.

Here's the thing too. From what I can remeber, it's better to have ram runnign at tighter timmings then to have it runnign at high speeds. Will i be able to run valu ram with tight timings?

You will be hard pressed to lower the timings on that Value RAM of course... But in fact you don't really notice a difference between a Cas Latency of 2 and one of 2.5 IMO... Of course, if you're going to put SiSoft Sandra or Memtest86 on it, there will be a difference, but I think you can surely go with RAM that has a CL of 2.5...

check our this thread. sure, you will notice a difference in sythetic benchies like sandra, but in real apps, latency doesnt make much of a differece. its better to save your money on the ram, and upgrade the video card.
