Hello all I'm trying to build a system with a celeron 2.4ghz cpu. I'm having a problem wiht choosing the mother board, so far I have seen good prices on these mb's on new egg> Ecs(pl4tpea2)chipset 845pe/ich4,Intel(d845gllyl)chipset845gl,Abit(Is7-e)chipset 865pe/ich5 and Abit(Is7)chipset 865pe/Ich5r. Please keep in mind I don't want to spend more than $100us, but will go to about $130us

Thank's to all

yet another useless post from digitl-dumb$h!t

anyway what I would recommend is the Albatron PX845PEV Pro. Cheap highly stable and vastly overclockable. Great value too.

For a celeron you wouldn't need the i865 chipset of the IS7 from Abit, but if you are going to be keeping the same mobo for a while it may be a good investment for the future.
