1. Freddie Mercury
2. Jeff Buckley
3. Thom Yorke (however his voice on the past few albums hasn't sounded as clean as it used to)

If Buckley had lived longer one could only imagine what he could've come up with.

Jimi Jamison (Survivor)

Paul Carrack (Ace, Squeeze, Mike+the mechanics) is pretty good too

I would have to say that trained opera singer have the best voices. I am not a big opera fan but the singers have it all, great range, timbre, and they sing without amplication.

Most popular music performers\singers are more stylists than pure singers.
