Which magazines do you subscribe to?

I got a free magazine subscription through poptarts.com and signed up for Maxim. I used to buy individual issues back in the day. It also used to be a lot thicker back then! It was hilarious back in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Now its kind of so-so and about 1/3 its original size. This month it had Lindsey Lohan. They managed to make her not look so skanky somehow.

What about you?

3 months of the Hockey News when NHL 11 is released next week...

Somehow I was receiving Good Housekeeping for a few months. My wife constantly busted my balls about this.

No idea where I opted in for the free trial. Fortunately I was never charged.

I get:
Maxim(free sub)
Embedded Design Magazine(free sub)
Control Engineering Magazine(free sub)
Motor Trend(free sub)
Peterson's 4-wheel and Off Road
Beer Advocate

Creationist Monthly--It's really just a pamphlet that lists the latest Evolutionist claims then explains how Satan tricked them since God did it.

All are either free subs or when people here linked to super cheap rates.
Maxim
CPU
Maximum PC
PCgamer
PC World

None anymore. I used to get several scientific journals but since I found Christ I don't need science anymore. That and the prices of journals got so freaking high.

Cook's Illustrated.
ditto.

I used to subscribe to a couple other magazines, but I let the subscriptions expire as I was gearing up to move this summer. seemed easier than having to screw around with an address change; I'll renew if I ever actually miss them.

GON. Georgia Outdoor News. Did a fishing tournament sponsored by them, you had to subscribe to their magazine to enter. Ended up getting the entry fee and subscription fee money back + alittle more after all was said and done.

What's your subscription rate? I signed up through barnes and noble using a code I had as well as the BCB they had at the time to get it for $18 or so. Now I'm getting renewal notices. I'll probably sign up for the 1 year because their extended plans are so fucking stupid. I can get a year for 14.95 or 3 years for 44.95. The 3 year plan is 3 cents/year more expensive than the single year.

Wow - I cant believe all the free subs you people are getting. I need to get in on this! How are free subs formed? How I get free magazines?

none, used to subscribe to Computer Gaming World.

Also got SI for 6 months when they had the Madden deal.

i had free maxim & stuff back in college. terrible terrible publications IMO, I had opportunity to extend the free subscriptions and chose not to.

only magazine i get now is Wired, which really is phenomonal

Not fully about homebrewing, but Beer Advocate is an excellent magazine/website about craft beer. They do have recipes and numerous interviews with craft brewers.
