Nope...4WD '05 Xterra owner here. Although I will admit, I do miss the feel of a manual tranny. Much easier to pass Cheerios back to the baby and put on her Dora The Explorer cd with the automatic, however. 😉

i in theory, could buy it for about 18 grand no matter what., but no, most of them that are at dealers are marked up just to get foot traffic

Saw my first Solstice in person yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous car. The one I saw was silver and I even spoke with the owner for a few minutes. He had paid $24K for his and it was the non turbo model.

The Sky is NOT based off a Lotus Elise.

The Sky will be a much larger car, and its Front Engine, RWD. The Elise is Mid-Engined RWD, and much smaller (not to mention, weighs about 900lbs less).

The Sky and the Solstice share the same platform (Kappa Platform), same engine and same transmission. There will practically be no performance difference between the two cars. Lotus has NOTHING to do with the Sky/Solstice.[/quote]
