Which Linux?

I seem to have caught the DC bug a bit again, and I have some new parts coming for a little cruncher box to heat my room over the long cold winter ahead.

I've noticed some folks mention that they're running BOINC under linux - was wondering if anyone can reccommend a nice slim distro to do the job? Something small and quick to download and easy to set up would be helpful. Thanks =)

Ubuntu is a quick setup with no thought involved.
Not sure how slim it is compared to others since it's the only version of linux I have ever tried.
The download is about 700MB though.

How about a FatDog on a Stick? You don't even need one of those HDDs that are so expensive lately.
