I have this one) and I don't really like it. I've missed about a third of the class (I realize this was bad), and I'm pretty much teaching myself out of the book to catch up.

I'm not blaming my suckage on the book or anything, but I just don't like the way the book flows.

So, out of curiousity, which linear book did you use?

Hmm... I was wondering why that one vector had it's arrowhead right up behind the other one.

The one by Anton and Rorres (although the new editions just have Anton's name on it). It was excellent.

Hardcore LA. That class pwned me -- it's where I paid a lot of pain to gain mathematical maturity. Now I do linear algebra for a living, in a sense. Go figure.

Linear Algebra was combined with my Diff Eq class. The Diff Eq book sucked...but hey, I passed:)
