Heh.. I just took a look at the laptop my work gave me, and it's a T40 type 2379. It's not bad, I guess. Of course, the only programs I use on it are web browsers, Outlook, Ethereal, Putty, Word, Acrobat Reader...
 
i really like my Sager. It has the best specs of any system I could find and it's a good deal cheaper than the high-end "name-branders."
 
Sager, ProStar, Twinhead, and Chembook. Many of their models are identical to various laptops by Dell, HP, Compaq, and others. Twinhead is an actual manufacturer (ODM/OEM) of laptops as opposed to an "assembler" or "marketer", one of the largest and most reputable.
