I do not game, but stream video, Slingbox and watch DVD's... should I go with a laptop that might offer better value in other ways that has integrated Intel GMA 4500M graphics over one with an integrated Nvidia GeForce 9100M-G card?

Thanks~

These is almost no reason to get a decent video card unless you game (2D games don't count) or do any kind of 3D work (like 3Dmax, AutoCAD etc.)

Yes, some newer Video cards does hardware acceleration on Blu-ray/DVD contents and take loads off the CPU, but if you are getting a new laptop, the CPU should be fast enough to handle them.

BTW, the new Intel GMA 4500 should have most of the video acceleration tech of the newest Nvidia & ATI cards as well if I am not mistaken.

Thanks for the input, toattett... that is pretty much what people have always said to me about graphics. The laptop I went with the Acer Aspire AS4530-5627, is said to have a really nice screen, as well (Acer CrystalBrite Technology)to complement the NVIDIA GeForce 9100M G integrated graphics. The reviews were just too good to ignore.
